Fall 2025 Teams Earn NYSPHSAA Academic Honors

Fall Athletic Teams Earn Scholar Athlete Recognition

 

Seven of eight fall varsity teams at Westhill High School have been recognized as NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Teams.  Scholar Athlete Teams for the fall 2025 season include girls' cross country, boys' cross country, girls' tennis, boys' golf, volleyball, girls' soccer and boys' soccer. To earn a Scholar Athlete Team award, at least 75% of the team's roster must have a 90% or higher GPA.

 

We had 162 varsity student athletes participating in the fall sports program with 109 of them earning a 90% or greater average for the 1st quarter.  Congratulations to all of our student athletes on this tremendous accomplishment and to our faculty and staff for the support of our athletes in the classroom.
