OHMS Students Place in Chess Tournament

Congratulations to OHMS students John Samhammer, Joseph Widrick and Jonathan Masset who competed in the Pine Grove Scholastic Chess Open tournament on April 6th.
 
John and Joseph both went 3-1 and tied for fifth place. Jonathan went 3-0-1 and ended up tied for third place. As a team, their combined scores brought home the overall first place for the K-5 division. This tournament had almost 80 participants split between the K-5 and K-12 divisions, with over thirty schools involved.
